We always need folks willing to travel for the ducklings. Sometimes, we get calls to rescue them. Those are the hard calls, but they’re usually worth the effort because you get to snuggle the cute bundles of fluff in the end (hopefully). We also get calls to pick up ducklings from vets’ offices and people who have managed to catch them. We have fosters all over the area, so our transporters typically take them to the nearest foster who has room for the ducklings. Sometimes, we daisy-chain the ducklings from one person to another to places farther away. We give guidance on what to carry in your car so you’re always prepared for our calls. Each transport and/or rescue is up to you at your convenience. We just put the calls out and hope someone responds.
