Though we are currently looking for land, our sanctuary is in the hands of our loving fosters all over the state of Florida, ranging from Orlando to Miami.
When we envision the sanctuary, we picture acres and acres of land somewhere around central Florida with multiple ponds out away from civilization. That way, the ducks will be able to roam without having to worry about being mistreated or killed by their neighbors. The ducks will be cared for, fed, and sheltered. A clinic will house the injured adults, as well as the newly orphaned babies. Barns will house the ducklings through their various stages of growth. It will basically be a ducky eutopia.
The sanctuary will be open to those who wish to learn about and interact with the ducklings and adults, allowing them to get their “duckling fix.” Through education and experiences, we will help to change the lives of wild Muscovies in the state of Florida.
