Do you absolutely love Muscovies? Would you like to have pet Muscovies living on your property? Do you think you have the right kind of setup for them? If you answer “yes” to all of these questions, then our older ducklings might be perfect for you. The goal of the Muscovy Sanctuary is to acquire property where we’ll raise our ducklings. They’ll grow up and live out their lives there. Until we get that property, though, our foster parents are raising them. They snuggle them, play with them, and generally love on them as much as the ducklings will let them. The result is ducklings who are not only used to people but enjoy them, and sometimes, even follow them around. The ducklings gain independence as they grow, but they usually continue to come when called (or when their treat container is shaken). They rely on us to feed and shelter them. They are pets, pure and simple. As our ducklings grow up, we are hoping to find them homes where loving families will dote on them for the rest of their lives.
