Visit the Sanctuary

Take a Tour & Stay a While

With Muscovies being unprotected, we feel it’s important for those who save them to be allowed to visit them to be assured of their well-being. We also find sitting and watching Muscovies to be a very relaxing past-time. The duck yard is currently at the home of our founder, Gail Dixon. Folks are welcome to visit the ducks by appointment and stay as long as they like. Gail will be happy to give you a tour, introducing you to the various residents who have been lovingly rescued. Currently, the ducks are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only. Please make your appointment below, or call Gail at (813)616-9639.

Hold an Imprint . . . or Three

When a duck is raised with no other ducks around, it imprints on its humans, meaning that it associates more with them than ducks. They often demand attention, and there are only so many hours in the day for us to give them the amount of it they require. Come to the sanctuary and hold one of the imprints. It can be a very peaceful, relaxing experience. Make your appointment today to hold one of our special ducks. They are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only.
